01/02 – An inquiry regarding volunteering doing remote research for PHS. Got him involved with research related to Civil War veterans in Putney and looking for more projects.
01/28 – An inquiry regarding information on great-great grandparents Leon and Frances Wood. Offered to meet with her.
03/30 – An inquiry regarding history of PHS and some of the processes and procedures of our operation. Met with him and he and another student attended a board meeting.
04/01 – An inquiry regarding portraits of Walter and Flora Hendricks she would like to donate to PHS. Responded in the affirmative.
04/11 – An inquiry regarding books on Putney History. Directed her to the books PHS has for sale.
05/15 – An inquiry regarding making of a memory book for recently deceased Hildamarie Hendricks and if PHS has information on her life we could share. Provided the limited information in our files.
05/20 – An inquiry regarding project to photograph historic structures in town and compare with 19th century photos of the same structures to see how the town has evolved. Provided some photos for his use in the project.
05/20 – An inquiry regarding history of house at 225 Hickory Ridge Road. Did some research in the land records and listers office and consulted an architectural historian who reviewed photographs and provided some insight.
05/23 – An inquiry regarding the history of the Bugbee House at 18 Kimball Hill. Provided some background history and photos.
06/10 – An inquiry regarding the Sabin family in Putney. Reviewed documents with them.
07/08 – An inquiry regarding historic interior photos of the community center prior to construction of the stage. None have been located.
07/26 – An inquiry regarding information on Dr. Goodhue in Putney. Excerpt from People of Putney sent to her.
08/09 – An inquiry sending articles related to music venues in Putney, posters, contracts, etc.
08/29 – An inquiry regarding origin of the name of Putney, any connection to her middle name? Thought to be derived from town along the Thames in London, along with Westminster and Fullam (original name of Dummerston).
09/12 – An inquiry from a textile conservator, asking for PHS to loan our two samplers (19th century needlework to demonstrate skill at embroidery and cross stitching) to the Brattleboro Museum for display during a driving tour event in 2025.
09/14 – An inquiry regarding the Crawford and White families he is related to.
09/18 – An inquiry from PCS asking to bring 26 first graders to PHS to learn about tools in our collection.
